Dr Hannah Bashforth (Twiddy) is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years’ experience working with adults facing mental health challenges.
She earned her BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Liverpool in 2002 and completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Manchester in 2007, specialising in clinical health psychology.
Dr Bashforth has extensive clinical experience and has held senior positions in both academic and clinical settings. Since completing her training, she has worked in the NHS across several large hospital trusts in the North West. She currently serves as the Academic Director for the Doctoral Programme in Clinical Psychology at the University of Liverpool.
In 2009, she co-founded The Clinical Psychology Practice, where she leads expert witness services and provides private therapy.
